They perfectly balanced between motivational and practical, with learning points at both an individual and organisational level.  It was clear that all of our delegates were locked into the speaker’s presentations

I was delighted to work with 1404 Performance at our recent employment law update at Trinity Park, Ipswich. We wanted to add an additional dimension to our annual employment law update - and given that recurring themes for our HR Director & Manager contacts frequently revolve around the importance of handling mental health issues in the workplace better; how to engender a performance culture within a business or organisation and strategies on how businesses can handle the skills gap, we were delighted to have 1404 Performance on board with us – who could talk authoritatively on all three subjects. The presentations were cogent, slick and energetic and perfectly pitched. They perfectly balanced between motivational and practical, with learning points at both an individual and organisational level. It was clear that all of our delegates were locked into the speakers presentations. At times, you could hear a pin drop in the room, and throughout, there was a real ‘buzz’ and energy. The feedback we received from our delegates represents some of the best we have received in 27 years of running the event – in no small part to the input of Danny and Chris. A pleasure to work with, and consummate professions from beginning to end. I’d gladly work with them again in a heartbeat.

Our work with 1404 has enabled us to understand our leadership roles, know how to maximise engagement at all levels of our organisation, through learning about our own preferred styles of communication and how to best communicate with our teammates who have different styles.

I quickly realised in my first-time chief executive role that being an expert in your field is no longer enough to be a top manager or executive. In a fast-paced working environment expertise needs to be balanced with the ability to communicate and lead effectively. At Local Space my team all know their subject areas well but as a relatively newly formed executive team I wanted to give us the best possible chance of success. That means looking at new ways to improve how we work with each other- helping each other to excellence and helping ourselves by making sure that we know the impact we are having and how to land key messages. Our work with 1404 has enabled us to understand our leadership roles, know how to maximise engagement at all levels of our organisation, through learning about our own preferred styles of communication and how to best communicate with our teammates who have different styles. Our leadership team is establishing an environment where we can harness our collective expertise, work better together and ultimately give more to our customers, staff and organisation. 1404’s approach is subtle yet bold, simple and effective. We are now working on our new customer-focussed 5-year corporate plan and are beginning the process with the head start of knowing we have a greater chance of successful delivery - based on trust, co-operation and supporting each other to succeed.

1404 performance delivered a great presentation to the London Fraud Forum (LFF) conference in front of 200 delegates.

Their presentation was well received by the audience. Which touched on the synergy between performance, behaviours, cultures and attitudes and the world of fraud bribery and corruption, they discussed the need for behaviours and culture to be recognised by those at the top as contributing towards improved performance, whether in the corporate world or that of international athletes.

Either way the distinction was clear to see in this inspirational presentation that had the audience captivated and as Chair of LFF I would highly recommend Danny and 1404 Performance as speakers to inspire your team!
